Aubrey R. Moon Jr. Field

Aubrey Moon Field is the home of the University Lynchburg Hornet softball team as well as the track and field throwing events. The beautifully maintained field welcomes all who enter the college from Lakeside Drive and is bordered by the Lynchburg College Alumni House and the Drysdale Student Center. The gently-sloping hillside next to the field can accommodate a number of fans and bleachers can seat approximately 500. The softball team has won 6 ODAC Championships and entered 4 NCAA Appearances, including a College World Series Appearance in 2008.
